Harvest giving (& singing!)

ree

The first Sunday in October is our time to celebrate Harvest - and we do so by collecting much needed items for the local Foodbank, and then sing together with St Luke's Church at the West Norwood Feast.

Our Harvest collection seems to grow each year; and probably just as well as the need at the Foodbank is growing too (see their website here).

We then sing for our supper! Or, our lunch, I guess, as we head up to the steps of St Luke's to sing harvest and gospel songs as part of the local Feast (first Sunday of the month - 'a volunteer powered street market).

Members of our church also run a bookstall there, selling Christian and other books, proceeds of which also go the local Foodbank.
