Community Life

Young Children

Introduction

Chatsworth Family Centre is a community based project of Chatsworth Baptist Church. Chatsworth Family Centre provides a range of family support services to children and families from the local community. Chatsworth Pre-school is a provision of Chatsworth Family Centre and operates within the management of the Centre by the Board of Governors.

Aim

We aim to provide a safe, supportive and stimulating environment in which children can explore and develop their understanding of themselves and the world in which they live. As a Christian pre-school we remember the major Christian festivals and draw upon stories and songs which reflect a Christian understanding of life.

Premises

The Pre-school has use of a room used exclusively for under 5Õs provision. There is a garden and outdoor area providing opportunities for a range of outdoor play activities and physical pursuits, together with a large hall. We have the use of toilets and kitchen.
